"Things of a Better"

I came across a scripture today that stood out to me. D&C 25:10:

"And verily I say unto thee that thou shalt lay aside the things of this world, and seek for the things of a better."

Isn't that beautiful? It made me pause and ask myself what I'm worried about and/or what my energy is going to. Is it frivolous things that don't really matter in the long run? Or am I seeking something better.

I also like it as a reminder that there is more out there than what this world has to offer. God has promised us so much more than we have here. But we have to seek it.
