We've been back from Idaho for a few weeks now and I'm just getting around to blogging about it. It was a jam-packed couple of weeks and we were able to see almost everyone we wanted to see and do everything we wanted to do. We had some fun mini-trips, one of which was to Flaming Gorge to go camping with Gavin's parents and Tobin, Whitney, and Maylee. It was so FUN and we had some amazing dutch oven meals.

Classic Wyoming landscape in the last picture. Sagebrush and a setting sun. At night the sun was really red so we had some nice sunsets while we were there. Also it was crazy windy for awhile. At one point it was blowing so hard that Emery was getting a little upset so I went into our tent to feed her. The tent was staked down and had our stuff in it, plus me and Emery. All of a sudden a huge gust of wind came and BLEW THE TENT OVER WITH US INSIDE! It rolled twice and then we stopped thanks to John who had caught us as we were heading towards the fire. The tent poles were shattered and the loops for the stakes had ripped off. Luckily Tobin and Whitney brought duct tape so we patched it up and it worked just fine. After that gust the wind died down and we had great weather for the rest of the trip. But it was exciting, to say the least!
