Baby Girl Names

Alright. So I get asked at least twice a day (sometimes 10 times a day, no exaggeration) if Gavin and I have picked a name for our baby yet. The answer is no, not yet. But we have finally narrowed it down a bit. Here's what is in the running, first and middle names:

Emery Alice (Alice is my sister's middle name)

Clara Lauren (Lauren is Gavin's sisters name)

Adelaide Ann (Ann is my middle name, along with my aunt and cousin's middle name, and happened to be the middle name of 3 of my 5 first college roommates. it's a popular one)

Hazel...and we don't have a middle name for her yet. I'm holding out for Jean, which is my other sister's middle name and my grandma's, but I haven't sold Gavin on it yet.

Nothing sticks out way more than the others yet, so I think we won't make a decision until we see her. So you can still cast your vote! :)

  1. Names are tough right?
If this is a boy, I'm going to really struggle with a name for sure.
I think they're all cute Tiff.
Whatever you guys decide, it'll be perfect.
I kinda am leaning towards Adelaide though.

  2. I love Clara... but when said with your last name it doesn't flow like Adelaide - which is my second choice.
They are all very pretty however and you'll know when you meet her!

  4. I know this wasn't one of the options, but my vote is for Emery Ann!! Cuz I was one of those Ann's.

  5. Cute names :) I agree with Jean being a good match with Hazel. I think my order of favs are:

Adelaide Ann (it flows really well with Giraud, plus, Adelaide is one of my favorite names for a girl, but Dell didn't like it as well, so I won't get to use it)

Then Emery Alice, followed by Hazel Jean.

Your daughter is going to be beautiful! Whatever her name!

  6. I tried to sale Stewart on the name Emery, he said it was a boys name. I love all the names, truth be told the moment you meet her, her name will stand out and you will know what name fits her best. So excited for you, keep us posted!

  7. I love Hazel, too. Dave won't let me do it. :) How about Hazel Irene? (that was my paternal grandma's name)
